Bibliography of Sources

BOOKS

 Benjahia. SC and all (2009) Film Studies: The Essential Introduction (Second Edition) Routledge:London

Chapter 1-Introduction- p16

This source covers the necessary criteria needed in order to expand my understanding of audience.

(The viewer experience, sensual, pleasure and emotional response.

 Jones, Tanya and all (2001) AS Media Studies for OCR (Hodder and Stroughton Educational: Berwick-upon-Tweed)

This Source is helpful in terms of the techniques (Camerawork, Lighting and Cinematography) being the personality of the picture.

MAGAZINES

 Analysing Page layout and Design. Media Magazine. English and Media Centre, February 2008. Page 43.

This page is focused on the understanding of visual literacy, composition, lighting and photography.
This will help me with my ancillary texts.

These sources have given me a starting point to understand the main components of film structure. This will help me to create my Teaser trailer.

I must start to analyse the texts in light of my research, which effects create a specific audience response.

I need to organise which affects are most popular in Teaser Trailers; which emotions evoke a desire to watch the film; the components of editing, camerawork, mise-en-scene etc and how they collaborate to make their audience curious.
