This is our idea for a Magazine cover. We have incorporated all elements we discovered when analysing page layout and design. I came up with ideas, relevant to the genre whilst considering composition.
For our poster and magazine cover we will use Rosie's DSLR to shoot the photographs. Using images of Rosie and I(Chris) in a 'ripped-up Polaroid' effect, will show the idea of the characters Chris and Rosie being in love and happy together before the incident that causes Rosie to get him locked up in jail. The images being 'ripped-up' shows the anger that Chris feels for Rosie. This set of test shots are posed by Rosie and I who are the characters Rosie and Chris. The intended mood is pleasing and the couple are seen to be enjoying themselves. My character is designed to have a strong sense of masculinty; this representation is relevant for our action/thriller genre.
I feel this photograph really creates this sense of an aesthetic relationship. My role as Chris is posed with a serious demeaner. The cigarette and hood up adds a deeper context in terms of the charaterisations. We will use similar photos in our magazine front cover.
